Lingerie Reviews - See-Through Lingerie Styles For Sex Appeal in the Bedroom

According to some, see-through underwear is for women who are not sufficiently confident of their own bodes to go naked in the bedroom, but since see-through underwear is, well see-through, this is difficult to believe. Why would a woman who is unhappy about being naked be happy to wear a wisp of chiffon her naked body can be seen through?

According to others, the reason for see-through underwear is that it is deeply sexy. Women in wisps of clothing are sexier than women without. There is, of course some truth in the fact that some mystery is far sexier than none, but again see-through clothing doesn't provide much mystery, other than the question why it is that men buy it and women leave it in their underwear drawers. I'm exaggerating here, but in general woman are OK with lingerie which gives a hint of the body beneath, or with transparent skirts in nightgowns with matching panties. Nightgowns with see-through cups typically only appeal to men.

The key to sex-appeal in the bedroom is to realise that it's not just a one way thing. It's not just about a woman having to look visually pleasing to a man, it's actually a lot more complicated, largely because with men it's about what they see, but with women it's about how they feel. Most women are very insecure about their bodies, often for no good reason, but the result is that they feel far better when covered, and they like to be covered in something which allows them to fantasize, just a little. So when it comes to sex appeal in the bedroom, forget how it looks and think about how it will feel. Usually transparency is not the way to go.

Most modern lingerie is mass produced in the Far East from Nylon and polyester chiffon Some of this is lovely, but many of the fabrics now in use for cheaper, see-through lingerie are just downright unpleasant, with a rough texture and hard seams. Silk and satin, like skin, have a sensual quality which is completely absent in cheap nylon. Women prefer something to fit and flatter, to feel wonderful against their skin and show off their best features. Breasts are at their best when partially revealed. You can't partially reveal something if it's covering is transparent.

Is this an old fashioned view? Who says sex-appeal is only for the young? The media keep saying the population is aging, but the truth is that woman at 40, 50 and 60 are still interested in sex-appeal in their bedroom, but much less likely to dress in something they feel uncomfortable in to do it.

The best see through styles for sex appeal in the bedroom are those that show only a hint of what is beneath, those that suggest, not those that reveal, those that fit flatter and feel fantastic Ultimately it may not be what you wear that matters, but how you take it off.
